about the founder
Brooke Johnson — Nervous System Trainer, Breathwork Facilitator, Founder of Stillforce
For more than a decade I’ve worked as a professional development trainer in construction — spending my days earning the respect of some of the most talented, high-pressure, driven people you’ll ever meet. My classroom has always been full of engineers, superintendents, and leaders twice my age. Earning their respect wasn’t optional — it was the job.
I also come from a family of service. My dad served in the Army; my grandfather was a Marine; one uncle was a Naval officer and another served in the Air Force. One brother is a police officer, the other is training to be a Navy SEAL, and my sister is a nurse. I grew up around people who carried a lot, stayed steady, and never slowed down.
Through my own personal development, I found breathwork and immediately recognized its potential for the people I’ve spent my life working with. I saw a gap: men needed a place to do real internal work — paired with tools that were effective, grounded, and practical. Not performative. Not fluffy. Something that actually worked.
That’s why Stillforce exists.
What I’ve Learned
Evidence matters. If it’s not backed by nervous system science, data, or real-world application, it doesn’t belong here.
Therapy helps — but most men also need something practical, tactical, and grounded in the body.
Plenty of men have friends. Very few have space to talk about what’s actually weighing on them.
Avoiding the stuff that’s heavy doesn’t make it disappear. It just makes it run the show.
With the environment is right, people open up fast — and change even faster.
Why Breathwork
Because it works — and it works quickly.
Breathwork gets you out of your head and back into your body, often for the first time in decades. It creates clarity, perspective, and regulation that most people don’t know how to access on their own.
When paired with coaching, structure, and language that actually lands, it becomes a training tool — not a one-off experience. It changes how you respond under pressure, how you recover, and how you lead.
Why I built stillforce
I’ve spent years earning the trust of sharp, competitive professionals. I know how to speak to men who don’t want fluff and don’t want to feel weak for needing support.
Stillforce is nervous system training for real life — breath, awareness, and control, built the same way you train anything that matters: with reps, clarity, consistency, and a plan.
This work is worth the discomfort.
And I’ve got you.
Let’s get to work.
